Motorcycling in Norway
Of Tyrol via Munich, Hamburg and Kiel to Oslo. Continue via Geilo, Balestrand , Hjelle to Geiranger Fjord. From there over Trollstigen, the north side of a pass road, over 9 part very tight bends down to the Norddalsfjord, further to Molde. Of Molde I drove to Atlantic Road. The Atlantic Road (in Norwegian called Atlanterhavsveien or Atlanterhavsvegen) is a part of Norwegian national road 64 (Rv 64),it is close to the cities Molde and Kristiansund in the midwest part of the Norwegian coastline., and connects the island and municipality of Averøy with the mainland at Eide. The road runs across an archipelago of partially inhabited islands and skerries. It consists of eight bridges and four resting places and viewpoints. This road part runs in soft sweeps and tight turns over the eight bridges and connects some islands and thus replaces the car ferry. In good weather conditions it´s a great experience with view to sea and a diverse island landscape. Due to thick fog i could not enjoy the stunning view - but nevertheless, the drive was on its way also again very atmospheric.
